Zamioculcas Zamiifolia is an easy-to-grow, green houseplant. Native to Zanzibar, Kenya, and Madagascar, this plant is also known as the "ZZ plant."

Provide the Zamioculcas with a partially shaded location. Some sun is also recommended. Its leaves grow toward the light. Turn it regularly to prevent it from warping. When its leaves point toward the ceiling, you know the plant is in the right spot.

This houseplant stores water in its stem and roots, so it doesn't need to be watered frequently. In summer, it's sufficient to plant it every two weeks and in winter, every three weeks.
